PRINTABLE POSTCARDS FROM MARTHA STEWART

As quite a few of you seem to have found my blog via the BPS I thought you might like it if I posted some printable postcards for those of you that like to get creative and make your own.

I definitely have a couple of ideas up my sleeve for these but you'll have to watch out for my future Benevolent Postcard Society posts as I'm not giving away my secret plans just yet if you don't mind ;)

You can download both of the Martha Stewart cards by clicking here...

I hope you find these useful even if your not a BPS member. I would love to hear what you plan to do with them. How about Save The Dates?

HIS 'N HERS PRINTABLE CALENDER

I love simple yet brilliant ideas that take everyday items and make them work even better for us. This his 'n hers calendar for October from Simple Blueprint is one of those simple, ingenious ideas that just make me think - 'Why didn't i think of that'?!

This printable calender has the dates down the middle instead of being aligned to the left leaving a space either side for you and your partner to mark important dates. Isn't that a great idea?

Let me know what you think and leave a comment below. I know I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for more his 'n hers calendars over the coming months.

Psst! Joanna also has a desktop calender and 2 A5 size designs to download if you want one all to yourself ;)

s the new school year is starting I thought it might be nice to share a few printables that the kids will enjoy. Even if you don't have any little people at home I have a feeling you're going to like this round up ;)

First up, from Jinjerup we have some chick bookmarks in the most beautiful choice of colours. If you hunt around Jinjerups blog you will find some fun fruit characters that have been turned into bookmarks too...

I'm sure your little dudes will think these super cool stickers from The Bruhn Family are out of this world. Wouldn't they be great for decorating note books and lunch bags? If Space isn't your thing you will find some really, really cute animals that Lotta Bruhn has available to download too.

'SPEND IT ON SOMETHING COOL' MINI PRINTABLE ENVELOPE

eenage boys are probably the hardest to buy for when it comes to birthdays so sending a gift card or some money can be a simple solution. At least you know they can put the money to something they really want, right?

I still think its nice to show you put a little more thought in than shoving a tenner in a birthday card though so I created this little money/gift card envelope for you to fill for the boys in your life. I really hope you like it!

Click here to download the PDF and instructions for your mini envelope.

psst! check back here or subscribe as I will be posting some co-ordinating stickers to seal your envelopes with very soon ;)

PRINT YOUR OWN DECORATIVE TAPE

I'm taking part in the Lovely Package Exchange on Oh, hello friend and have been working on my gifts and wrapping this weekend.

I love all the pretty Japanese tapes on Etsy but being the unorganised person I am, it's sadly too late to buy some for the Exchange. Not all is lost though! I put my crafty thinking cap on and came up with a way around the problem...

...Voila! I made my own...okay, okay so its not quite the same because you have to use a glue stick but it looks great, I promise.

I knew someone out there would find this useful too, so as I'm a caring and sharing kinda gal I've uploaded two styles for you here to print, cut and stick for your own packages :)

I'm slow to get the hang of this photography lark, (even with the natural light on my side!) so my pictures sadly don't really do this little project justice.

You should definitely give this ago next time you want something pretty to seal a card or a gift, it really can look beautiful.

What you need...

1. Tracing Paper
2. Printer
3. Adobe Reader (click here to get it free)
4. Craft Knife/Scissors
5. Ruler
6. Glue Stick/Spray Mount

Ready to start? Download the tape and instructions by clicking here...

MINI-FILE FOLDER DOWNLOAD

hitney from Whisker Graphics posted a really handy mini-file download for her blog readers which I think you'll enjoy just as much as I do.

The mini-files are really useful for organising all manner of paper bits and you can print as many as you need to file away stamps, coupons, printables, recipe cards, receipts, travel documents...anything that can go in a 4.75" x 7" file!

I like to cut out all the printable mailing labels, stickers and note cards I've collected and group them in these files so my stationary box stays relatively organised.

You can click here to get the download and say a big thank you to Whitney!

Tip: Why not use the mini-file as a template to make files from different cards and papers you have left over from other projects?

Psst! You can also find Whisker Graphics on Etsy ;)

WONDERFUL WEBSITES - FREE PRINTABLE LINK LIST'S

s we have a bit of an organisation theme to the posts this week I thought we could get our notes in order with my Wonderful Websites printable, which you can use to scribble down all your web addresses in one place!

I am sure I am not alone when I say my Favourites list of bookmarks on my PC is crying out for a reorganisation but it's a beast I'm just not ready to tackle...I don't think i'd know where to start!

So I could find important web addresses I created these link list's to note down any sites that I specifically wanted to come back to. I am telling you, these have saved me so much time and it is nice not to have to flick through my note book a zillion times looking for an addresses I know I wrote down!

I figured that if I were finding these lists useful that all my lovely new blog buddies might too. If you would like to print your own click here to download the PDF :)

tip: cut out a 14.5 x 22cm piece of card stock to make a little clipboard and keep your lists handy by attaching them to it with a cute bulldog clip or peg.

BOOK PLATES

recently joined Read It Swap It which is a fantastic site that connects you with like minded people to swap your old books with!

I love getting unexpected treats and thought it would be nice to send these gorgeous book plates from Baca Creative with my swaps as a little thank you to my swap buddy!

They are perfect as a little accompaniment if you give someone a books as a gift or for labeling your own book collection so I am really happy that I can share these with you here too.

Christa Baca has this and three other book plate designs available for you to download on her blog so hop on over to Baca Creative and print yours now. I like to use Spray Mount to affix the labels to the inside cover of my own books but you can use the adhesive of your choice.

Although I love the design above for gifts my personal favourite has to be this one.

I am always reluctant to lend my favourite books to friends in case I never get them back but hopefully these will put a stop to my books going walk-abouts and help me to be a little more sharing in future...I will keep you posted on whether it works!

Dont forget to say thanks to Christa and let her know how much you love these if you download them as I am sure she would love to hear from you.

As the first printable file I ever used was the Aqua and Orange Mailing Label from Creature Comforts I thought it was fitting that it should be the first printable file that I share with you here on Make, Do & Send.

All you have to do is click here to download and print the PDF Ez has kindly put together for you all. I keep a stash of these in an envelope on my desk so they are always to hand.
